ABOUT ME

Hello everyone, my name is Emily Jimenez, but I go by Mely. I was born in Oregon, but for most of my childhood, I lived in California. I'm a first-year student here at Linn Benton Community College, and I plan to transfer to Oregon State University to earn my Bachelor's degree. I'm pretty funny; many of my close relatives would agree. I'm a very energetic person. I am also really competitive, and I love to play sports. 

Being a business major, I have decided to take the marketing path. I enrolled in this course because I want to learn more about marketing, the skills and the knowledge. Taking this course would be a great way of seeing if marketing is something I am truly passionate about and want to continue in the future.

I'm majoring in business in sports marketing. Right now, my goal after college is to work in a marketing team for a soccer team. Another thing is that at some point, I want to create my own business.

What I'm most interested in learning about in marketing is making an Ad, because it would be cool seeing an ad you have created.

Outside of college, I love to go outdoors, whether it's playing soccer, camping, or hiking; it's something I enjoy doing in my free time. I also really love taking roadtrips and traveling, its very therapeutic to me because I'am not only visiting new places but its a way to relax and forget about everything else. Such as the time I went to Chicago in February, before I went I was still in school and working, being stressed all the time but once I was in Chicago everything went away, the stress and the worries were not there anymore. I had an amazing experience over there it was beautiful, the buildings, the weather, especially the vibes. I hope to keep visiting new places and experience many new things.
